Bills claim TE MarQuies Gray

Orchard Park, NY - The Buffalo Bills today announced that the team has claimed and been awarded TE MarQuies Gray.

Gray entered the NFL in 2013 when he signed as a undrafted free agent with the San Francisco 49ers. The 6-4, 242 pound Minnesota product was released by the 49ers prior to the start of the 2013 regular season and joined the Cleveland Browns. He played in 12 games, starting two, for the Browns while recording two receptions for 8 yards and six rushes for 43 yards.

Gray was released by the Browns prior to the start of the 2014 regular season and joined the Minnesota Vikings. Gray, 26, played in eight games this season for the Vikings. He is a native of Indianapolis, IN.

The Buffalo Bills also announced that the team has released RB Phillip Tanner.
