New Bills head coach Rex Ryan has put together what he calls an all-star coaching staff. That staff will have some Hall of Fame caliber expertise at the receiver position this summer.

Ryan confirmed that Bills all-time leading receiver and Hall of Famer Andre Reed will be assisting the Buffalo coaching staff at training camp as a member of the Bill Walsh Fellowship Coaches program.

"Having Andre here—when I heard he was interested we jumped all over that opportunity--bringing in a Hall of Fame receiver--one of Buffalo's own--we are really excited about it," said Ryan.

Reed will serve in an intern capacity with the coaching staff. He's expected to work closely with Bills receivers coach Sanjay Lal.

"He was really enthused about getting this opportunity and working here. It is special. This is his team. I think that will be great. (Our receivers) will learn from one of the best. Anytime you can bring that expertise to your team, we jumped at it. I'm really excited to have Andre Reed to help our guys out this summer."

Reed has previously served in a similar coaching internship with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Among Reed's former Bills teammates who are currently coaching in the NFL are Pete Metzelaars (San Diego), Frank Reich (San Diego) and Alex Van Pelt (Green Bay).
