The Buffalo Bills have announced that the August 23 preseason home opener versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is sold out and will be televised locally across the Buffalo Bills Television Network. Nationally the game can be seen live on NFL Network. The 14tth annual Kids Day game, sponsored by Independent Health, presents fans with the first opportunity to see the large-scale Ralph Wilson Stadium renovations in person.
The first 30,000 kids ages 14 and under to enter the gates will receive a pair of Bills sunglasses courtesy of Independent Health. The Kids Day events kick off at 12:30 p.m. in lot 4 with a youth-themed tailgate party including interactive games, face painting, a magician, and the introduction of Stampede, the brand new Buffalo Bills Drum Corp.
A limited number of season tickets and Kids Day tickets are still available. Fans are encouraged to be a part of the Kids Day experience and get the first look at the Ralph Wilson Stadium renovations by purchasing tickets online at buffalobills.com or ticketmaster.com, visiting the Ralph Wilson Stadium ticket office, or by calling 1-877-BB-TICKS (228-4257).
In honor of USA Football Month, the Buffalo Bills will host 5,000 youth football players, coaches and their families at Ralph Wilson Stadium to reward those leagues that participated in Heads Up Football - a nationwide initiative to teach proper tackling techniques, heat and hydration protocol and equipment fitting to youth coaches and players to keep our game safe for future generations. In addition to those guests in the stadium, the Bills will host members of the Clarence Bulldogs from the Jim Kelly Youth Football League, who will take the field first to form Stampede Row during Bills player introductions, and the Westside Panthers from the Jamestown Youth Football League, who will line up on the Bills sideline during the National Anthem. At the conclusion of the first half, the Niagara Wheatfield Tomcats Youth Football and Pendleton Cougars Youth Football organizations – both of the Niagara Erie Youth Sports Association Youth Football League – will square off in a halftime scrimmage.
