The Buffalo Bills today announced that the team has promoted TE Gerald Christian from the team's practice squad to the 53-man roster.
Christian has spent time on both the team's practice squad and 53-man roster this season. Christian, a 6-3, 250-pound Louisville product, originally entered the NFL in 2015 as a seventh round pick (256th overall) of the Arizona Cardinals. During his two seasons at Louisville (2013-14), Christian started 21 of 26 games played and registered 60 receptions for 810 yards and nine TDs. Christian, 25, is a native of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
The Bills also announced that the team has released K Jordan Gay.
