BILLS SIGN BRAZEN, DENNEY AND PETERSON

ORCHARD PARK, NY – The Bills today announced the free agent signings of P Josh Brazen, WR Chris Denney and WR Daunta Peterson.

 

All three players have been allocated to NFL Europe this season.

 

Brazen participated in Buffalo's 2006 training camp before being released on August 5th. Brazen was a three-year starter at Kent State.  In 2005, he ranked second in the MAC with a 42.4 punting average and placed 13 kicks inside the 20-yard line

 

Denney was signed by Buffalo as an undrafted free agent on May 5, 2006. He participated in Buffalo's 2006 training camp before being released on August 28th.  Denney was a standout receiver at University of Nebraska-Omaha. He finished his college career ranked third in school history with 2,445 receiving yards.

 

Peterson was a standout receiver at the University of Dubuque, a Division III school in Iowa. Following the 2005 season, Peterson was named the team's co-offensive MVP as he produced 63 receptions, 851 receiving yards and five touchdowns. He was a four-year letter-winner at Dubuque.

 

The NFL Europe allocation draft is February 23rd and players report to their teams on March 8th.  The NFL Europe season will begin on April 14th.
