Bills sign defensive end

ORCHARD PARK, NY – The Bills today announced the signing of defensive end Derrick Jones. In accordance with team policy, terms of the deals were not disclosed.

Jones joins the Bills after spending last season with the Atlanta Falcons. The 6-4, 282 pound defensive end appeared in one game for the Falcons. He was released by Atlanta in June. Jones was originally signed as an undrafted free agent out of Grand Valley State in 2007 by the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Los Angeles, Calif. native began his collegiate career at Victor Valley College in Southern California.
