The Bills added two special teamers to their roster on Tuesday. Buffalo signed kicker Matt Prater and punter Cameron Johnston to the 53-man roster.
Prater, who's already well known amongst Bills fans, kicked a game-winning field goal as time expired to give Buffalo a huge come from behind victory in their first game of the season.
The kicker holds the record for most makes from at least 50 yards with 81. He also has a career field-goal make percentage of 83.7%. Prater's in his 19th NFL season and kicked for Arizona from 2021-24 before coming to Buffalo.
Johnston's last stop was with Pittsburgh in 2024. He's in his eighth NFL season and has also played for Houston and Philadelphia.
His career net-yards per punt average is 42.2. Johnston's also averaged 47.3 yards per punt in his seven seasons. He has 183 punts downed within the 20, which makes up 40.8% of his punts. His longest punt traveled 74 yards in 2023.
To make room for these moves, the Bills released punter Brad Robbins.
