The Bills made a change at their punter position Tuesday, signing free agent P Matt Darr to a one-year deal.
Darr, 26, was last with the Miami Dolphins during the 2017 offseason, but he did not make their final 53-man roster that year.
He spent two seasons with Miami (2015-2016) where he had a gross punting average of 46 and a net punting average of 39.8. Over that span 62 of his 182 punts were downed inside the 20 and 41 more went for fair catches.
To make room on the roster the Bills released punter Colton Schmidt. This is the second time this season that the club has parted ways with the punter.
