Bills sign RB Anderson to practice squad

The Bills had a spot open up on their practice squad when RB Joique Bell was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles to their active roster on Tuesday. Buffalo quickly filled the vacancy signing RB Andre Anderson.

Anderson, an undrafted rookie free agent out of Tulane, first joined the Bills on Aug. 16th to help fill a void after both Fred Jackson and Marshawn Lynch were lost to injury on the first series of the team's preseason opener at Washington.

A 1,000-yard rusher, his senior season for the Green Wave, Anderson (5'11" 211) also played in the East-West Shrine game prior to the 2010 NFL draft.

After going undrafted Anderson was signed by the Oakland Raiders as a rookie free agent in late April, but was released during the Raiders' spring camps. Anderson is known as a slashing one-cut back that has receiving ability after catching 55 passes over his final two collegiate seasons.
