Bills sign tight end

The Buffalo Bills announced that the team has signed TE Joe Klopfenstein to the 53-man roster. In accordance with team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The Bills also announced that the team has released DT Corey Mace.

Klopfenstein re-joins the Bills after being released by the team on November 28. Klopfenstein appeared in all 16 games, making 10 starts in 2008 with St. Louis. In his three-year career, he has played in 48 games making 37 starts and caught 33 passes for 386 yards and two touchdowns. The 6-5, 262-pound Colorado product originally entered the NFL as a second-round (46th overall) draft choice of the Rams in 2006.
