Bills sign WR DeMarco Sampson, waive DB Vernon Kearney

Orchard Park, NY – The Buffalo Bills today announced that the team has signed WR DeMarco Sampson. In accordance with team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Sampson entered the NFL as a seventh-round (249th overall) draft choice of the Arizona Cardinals in 2011 and appeared in 12 games during his rookie season, making three catches for 36 yards. He was released by Arizona prior to the 2012 regular season and joined the Philadelphia Eagles in January of 2013 before being released on May 14th. The 6-2, 204-pound San Diego State product caught 146 passes for 2,242 yards and 18 touchdowns for the Aztecs and earned All-Mountain West honors twice.

The Bills also announced that DB Vernon Kearney has been waived.
