ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) - Bills undrafted rookie Jeff Tuel will make his first career start in Buffalo's game against the unbeaten Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

Tuel is playing in place of interim starter Thad Lewis, who is out after bruising his ribs in a loss at New Orleans last weekend. The Bills (3-5) are already minus rookie starter EJ Manuel, who missed his fourth straight game since spraining his right knee.

Tuel, out of Washington State, struggled in his only appearance this season. He went 8 of 20 for 80 yards and an interception in taking over after Manuel was hurt in a loss to Cleveland on Oct. 3.

Recently signed free agent Matt Flynn will serve as Tuel's backup.

The Chiefs (8-0) are healthy, and report no changes to their lineup.
