Bills waive one linebacker, sign another

The Buffalo Bills today announced that the team has signed LB Xavius Boyd. In accordance with team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Boyd entered the league earlier this year as an undrafted free agent with the Baltimore Ravens. The 6-2, 243 pound Western Kentucky product lead the Hilltoppers in tackles with 103, tackles for loss with (15.5), sacks with (8.5) and had one forced fumble during the 2013 season. Boyd is 23 years old and a native of St. Petersburg, FL.

The Buffalo Bills also announced that the team has waived LB Darrin Kitchens. He has been designated as waived/injured.
