BUFFALO, N.Y. – In partnership with USA Football and Football Canada, the Buffalo Bills will host the U.S. Women's National Flag Football Team and the Canadian Women's National Flag Football Team for a halftime scrimmage/exhibition on Sunday, October 5, at Highmark Stadium during the Bills vs. Patriots game.
The Buffalo Bills are proud supporters of Flag Football participation, growth, and development in our community, both in the United States and Canada, and are thrilled to host this first-of-its-kind opportunity to highlight some of the best flag football players in the World in advance of the Flag Football Olympic debut during the 2028 Summer Games in Los Angeles.
On the morning of Sunday, October 5, from 10:00 a.m. – Noon, the two teams will visit West Seneca East High School (4760 Seneca St, West Seneca, NY 14224) to participate in a walkthrough/practice and visit with local youth and high school girls flag football players from the Buffalo and Southern Ontario, Canada communities. Media are welcome to attend (the local youth and High School Flag players will arrive at 11:00 a.m.).
Prior to kickoff of the Bills vs. Patriots game, the Women's National Flag Teams will join the Bills Alumni for a celebratory tailgate party in the "Billevard" before heading to the Highmark Stadium field to view Bills pre-game warmups and participate in Bills player introductions by holding the Bills introduction banners on the field during the announcement of the starting lineup.
