Chris Brown's 2008 Mock Draft

Below is my fourth annual mock draft on Buffalobills.com. As always I will emphatically state that I don't claim to know any more than the collection of other media types who put a mock draft together. This is just how I think, and to a certain degree hope, things could pan out in round one. My intent here, as always, is to be informative and entertaining. After all, no one gets more than half of them right anyway!

TeamTop 3 NeedsPossible Selections
1. MiamiOT, DE, TETop choice:OT Jake Long - Michigan

Well I know I've got this one right, though I don't agree with it. I like Glenn Dorsey best in this draft.

2. St. LouisDL, WR, LBTop choice:DE Chris Long - Virginia
DT Glenn Dorsey
Though Dorsey would shore up an average run defense, the Long-Little combo off the edge is too tempting.

QB Matt Ryan
The LSU manchild should immediately help Mike Smith's rebuilding project on defense.

Lamont who? Al Davis gets JaMarcus Russell some dynamic run support to keep defenses honest.

KC replaces Allen with Gholston and now holding the 17th pick may be able to get a top 5 tackle.

If McFadden and Gholston are gone Jets will look to trade down with a suitor for Matt Ryan's services.
