ORCHARD PARK, NY - The Buffalo Bills today announced that the team has signed free agent DL Alex Carrington. In accordance with team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The Bills originally drafted Carrington in the third round (72nd overall) of the 2010 NFL Draft. The 6-5, 301-pound Arkansas State product spent the first four years of his career with Buffalo prior to joining the St. Louis Rams last season.

Carrington was a special teams force during his first stint with the Bills, blocking six kicks (four field goals, two extra point attempts). His four blocked kicks during the 2012 season (three field goals, one extra point attempt) still stands as a team-record. In addition to his kick blocking prowess, Carrington has recorded 53 tackles, four sacks and 14 tackles for loss during his five NFL seasons.
