Draft Day Challenge Winner

The Buffalo Bills announced that Steve Ginsburg, Williamsville, NY is the winner of the third annual M&T Bank Draft Day Challenge. Ginsburg correctly selected Penn State University linebacker Aaron Maybin as the Bills first pick of the NFL Draft.

Nearly 5,000 fans participated in the online contest and 861 fans correctly predicted Maybin as Buffalo's top selection in this year's draft.  Ginsburg was randomly selected among the contestants who had the correct selection.

"I was able to catch a few Penn State games last season and Maybin had great rushing ability," said Ginsburg.  "I found out about this contest by checking Chris Brown's Blog on the website.  I'm on there about three times a day and before the Draft I was very interested."

As part of the winning prize, Ginsburg and his wife met Aaron Maybin immediately after Maybin's first-ever Bills practice on Friday, May 1, 2009.  He received a #1 Aaron Maybin autographed jersey, two tickets to the Bills vs. Cleveland Browns game on October 11th, and two pre-game field passes to the Bills vs. Browns game.

"The Draft Day Challenge contest gives Bills fans a great opportunity to connect with the team and keep their interest extended throughout the year," said Peter J. Eliopoulos, chief marketing officer for M&T Bank. "We want to continue to provide an important segment of our customers that avidly support the Bills with something unique and extra, and the M&T Bank Draft Day Challenge Contest is a popular part of our partnership with the Bills."
