ORCHARD PARK, NY – The Buffalo Bills today announced the team has released DT Alan Branch.

Branch was drafted in the second round by Arizona in 2007. He played four years with the Cardinals before spending two seasons with Seattle. He signed with the Bills in 2013 and made a career-best 39 tackles last season in 16 games. An eight-year NFL veteran, Branch signed a contract extension after last season.

The release comes two days before the Bills are to trim their roster to 75.
