Eight Bills out for Sunday

In a season rife with injury, it almost comes as no surprise that eight Bills will be unable to play in the season finale Sunday.

Quarterback Trent Edwards and LB Bryan Scott were already declared out for Sunday's game by interim head coach Perry Fewell earlier in the week. Joining them on the inactive list will be LB Nic Harris (knee), WR Steve Johnson (ankle), S Todd Johnson (hamstring), OT Andre Ramsey (calf), WR Josh Reed (ankle) and OT Jonathan Scott (ankle).

Steve Johnson and Ramsey were both injured in practice on Thursday and will be unavailable. Ramsey was scheduled to make his first career start on Sunday in the event that Jonathan Scott was unable to play, which has proven to be the case.

With Ramsey now also unavailable it's expected that rookie Jamon Meredith will start at left tackle for Scott against the Colts. Meredith has made three starts this season for Buffalo, with all three coming at right tackle.

With Harris out, it's expected that Jon Corto will start at linebacker along with Paul Posluszny and Chris Draft. Rookie Ashlee Palmer would normally be the linebacker to fill the void, but he's doubtful with an ankle injury.

Tight end Shawn Nelson and safety Donte Whitner are both questionable due to illness and will be game time decisions. Starting quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick is probable after practicing fully on Friday.
