Season ticket holder fantasy football

Posted By: Chris Brown | Time: 2:12 PM ET

SEASON TICKET HOLDER FANTASY FOOTBALL: For the first time Bills season ticket holders will have the chance to compete against each other in fantasy football this fall.

Contestants working with 300 units pick a QB, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, a TE, a K and a defense each week. Players are assessed point values and the total value of the player lineup must not exceed 300.

New lineups must be submitted each week of the season before the first game of the week is played. This week for example, the first game is Thursday night.

The overall points winner at the end of the season will have their 2009 season tickets paid for (max of 2) courtesy of the Buffalo Bills.

Weekly prizes of $50 gift cards to the Bills Store will be awarded to the highest point totals each week.

It's a great game, it's free and it's easy, and you can compete against me since I'm signed up as well. Here are the details and registration sign up.

And hurry! The first game of the season is Thursday night. So get yourself registered and your lineup set.

No McKelvin number change

NO MCKELVIN NUMBER CHANGE: In response to the rumors and fears on the message board that Leodis McKelvin is planning to change his number you can rest assured it won't happen.

Once a top draft pick chooses his number in spring OTAs, he's locked into that number because Reebok begins manufacturing the jersey. 28 is the number McKelvin picked and 28 he will be.

Jon Corto had his number changed on Monday, but that was due to a position change. Once he was designated a full time linebacker by the club by league rule he has to wear a jersey number in the 50's or 90's. He's now 57.

Yes, Coy Wire was a linebacker last year and wore 27, but the team never designated him a LB, he was listed all last season as a safety, which is how they got around that one.
