When Rochester native and longtime Bills fan Eric Sage, entered this year's Schedule Challenge, presented by Ellicott Hotels, he couldn't have imagined that he'd end up winning. So, when Sage, who participates in the contest each year, received an email letting him know that he'd won a pair of 2018 Bills Club Season Tickets, two pregame on-field passes for the home opener and an autographed helmet, he was ecstatic.

"I was so excited," said Sage. "When I first got the email, I had to double take…Once I realized that it actually happened, I was so happy. I am such a diehard Bills fan and it means a lot."

Sage's love for the Bills dates to the early days of the franchise and he can still remember watching players such as quarterback Joe Ferguson drive the team down the field. Although he has regularly attended Bills games for years – at least two each season – Sage has never had season tickets, making the opportunity to enjoy a full season of Bills home games at New Era Field even more surreal. After looking over the schedule, he explained that he's particularly excited for two games.

"I have two [games that I am looking forward to] - the home opener, I haven't been to a home opener in five or six years [and] those are always a lot more electric…Also the Monday night game against the Patriots," he said. "Thurman [Thomas] is getting his jersey number retired that night too, that'll be special."

Eager for the season to start, Sage can't wait to make more Bills memories with his family and friends.

Congratulations, Eric!
