Does Marv Albert think the Bills are going to the playoffs? YES!!! Sorry, we couldn't help it. That is, however, what the Hall of Fame broadcaster said about the current Buffalo team. Echoing what seems to be popular opinion, Albert believes that the improvements on defense and the weapons on offense make the Bills good enough to make it to the post-season. He also thinks the Bills offense is good enough to top the Jets defense this weekend.
Ryan Fitzpatrick took time out of his multi-media whirlwind to be on the John Murphy Show. The Bills signal-caller talked about upcoming appearances on the TV shows "Family Guy" and "The League." Fitzpatrick also took some time to talk about the Jets, and in particular, his first time playing them which lead to him becoming the starting quarterback in Buffalo. Since that game, the Jets have won the last five meetings which he says is definitely unacceptable. He feels that, even though the Jets are bound to throw in new wrinkles, the Bills are well poised to come out of the Big Apple with a big win.
We know that there are rabid Bills fans all over the world, but Matt Kabel let us in on just how crazy the New York City Bills Backers can get. Kabel is one of the founders of the group that meets at McFadden's on 2nd Ave. to watch their favorite team. The group gained a lot of attention with their boisterous celebration after Buffalo beat New England last year, as well as being the backdrop for an edition of "What's the Word" with George Wilson, which we're sure is their crowning achievement.
