My One Buffalo update offers wait time management, concession ordering

With the Buffalo Bills season kicking off this weekend and the Buffalo Sabres season not far behind, Pegula Sports and Entertainment is excited to unveil version 2.0 of the My One Buffalo app. The updated app is now available in the Apple Store and on Google Play.

We debuted My One Buffalo one year ago as a way for the Buffalo sports fan to customize his or her fan experience. With version 2.0, we've redesigned the app with a cleaner look to make it more accessible while maintaining the membership program that saw fans earn suite upgrades, giveaways and exclusive ticket offers last season.

But this update isn't all about aesthetics.  Let's go over some of the features we added to improve your gameday experience, whether you're at New Era Field, KeyBank Center, HarborCenter or looking to follow your teams from out of town.

WHAT'S NEW

Wait-time management

It's midway through the second period at a sold-out Sabres game, and you want nachos. Do you run to concessions and risk missing a goal? Do you battle the mass rush at intermission and risk missing the beginning of the third period? This is the toughest decision you'll face on a game day.

Welcome to the future. The My One Buffalo app allows you to check concession and bathroom wait times at KeyBank Center, whether you're watching the Sabres, Bandits, or attending a concert. Find the shortest line, grab those nachos and barely miss a beat.

At New Era Field, you can use the app to check wait times for all seven of the stadium's entrance gates. Avoid foot traffic, maximize your tailgate time and still make it in for kickoff.

Order concessions from your phone (KeyBank Center only)

If helping you find the shortest line isn't enough, how's this? At KeyBank Center, fans can order concessions straight from the My One Buffalo app. You'll be notified when your order is ready, and with four pickup locations throughout the arena, you can grab your food and be back in your seat faster than a Jack Eichel breakaway. Disclaimer: You will not actually move faster than Jack Eichel.

Uber pickups

The ride sharing service will be available within the My One Buffalo app, with designated pickup locations at both New Era Field and KeyBank Center so you can get home safely and conveniently.

Sabres Flex Pass

The Flex Pass is the newest ticket option at KeyBank Center, and it's accessible through My One Buffalo. Flex Passes give fans access to Sabres home games, excluding blackout dates, for a monthly fee of $89.

Here's how it works: Once you purchase a Flex Pass on Sabres.com, you'll receive instructions on how to sync it to your My One Buffalo app. The app will send you a notification 24 hours prior to puck drop for home games, at which point you'll be able to claim your seat.

Flex Passes for the 2017-18 season go on sale Sept. 16.

STAY TUNED

The next update to the My One Buffalo app will include new features geared toward the out-of-town fan. "Bills Backers" and "Sabres Nation" will be introduced to provide listings of bars in your area where you can watch the Bills or Sabres, in addition to local TV listings and other events near you.

HOW TO JOIN

Simply download the My One Buffalo app from the Apple Store or Google Play, and register for free. Complete your profile to reach the Bronze Member Level, and link the app to your Bills and Sabres ticket accounts to reach Silver or higher.

Once you're in, you'll have access to exclusive content, Bills and Sabres Store discounts and game day experiences. You might end up on the sideline at New Era Field or outside the locker room when the Sabres take the ice.
