Patriots remain thin at running back, cornerback

The New England Patriots could again be short-handed at running back and cornerback when they face the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.

Sammy Morris did not practice all week and is listed as doubtful. LaMont Jordan sat out practice the last two days and is listed as questionable.

Jordan has missed the last four games with a calf injury and Morris the last two with a knee injury. That has left the Patriots with only three healthy backs: Kevin Faulk, Heath Evans and free agent rookie BenJarvus Green-Ellis.

Three cornerbacks are on the injury list. Rookie Terrence Wheatley has been ruled out of Sunday's game with a wrist injury; Ellis Hobbs is questionable due to a shoulder injury; and Lewis Sanders is doubtful with a hamstring.

Nose tackle Vincent Wilfork is questionable with a toe injury.
