Top 10 best things to come out of the first seven games

10. Tight end productivity.

If you didn't know the name Charles Clay, you know it now. The free agent acquisition has become a staple in the Bills offense, showing sturdy productivity that has him tied league-wide for 3rd in receptions by a TE and 6th in TE receiving yards. He's also setting the bar for Bills tight ends with the most receptions, yards and touchdowns in franchise history.

9. Standout rookies.

Lacking a first round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, the expectation was certainly not that three rookies would start and contribute in a big way in 2015. Ronald Darby, John Miller and Karlos Williams are becoming household names for their solid play in year one.

8. Punting.

We know, we know. You don't want to see punting on this list. But with the kind of numbers Colton Schmidt is putting up, it deserves a moment in the sun. Schmidtty Kicker (as they say on Twitter) is in the midst of the best season of all time for a Bills punter, with 36 punts for 1,749 yards and a gross punt average of 48.6 – 5th best in the NFL.

7. Bills in the Community.

As they always do, the Bills have gotten out into the Western New York community this season to Play 60 with kids (in American and the UK!), celebrate breast cancer survivors, support local youth and high school football and so much more. It might not have happened between the lines, but it matters just as much to those impacted, if not more.

6. Interceptions.

The rookie Ronald Darby, the sophomore Preston Brown, and the veteran Corey Graham each have a pair of INTs, adding to the eight total on the season. Watch 'em all right here!

5. Feel the Rush

The Bills rushing attack is ranked 6th in the league with 867 total yards – split between a dynamic running back corps that hasn't even been at full strength for most of the year. And don't forget about QB contributions; Tyrod Taylor added 187 of the Bills yards on the ground.

4. Fan support

Bills fans need not prove they're the best in the NFL every season, but they do it anyway. The fan support in 2015 has been unbelievable. Through thick and thin, in Orchard Park and London, the undying love for the Bills is evident to all, and makes this team tick and this community strong and united.

3. Big plays.

The Bills are tied for 3rd after the first seven weeks of play with 33 big plays – rushes or passes over 20 yards. Relive them with these highlights.

2. Winning the home opener.

A beautiful day. The return of football. A dominating win over an AFC opponent. What a way to start the 2015 season.

After an offseason – strike that, many seasons – of quarterback uncertainty, there's hope for stability at the position now and in the future in Buffalo, and that's something to celebrate.
