WR Marcus Thigpen claimed by Bills, added to 53-man roster

Orchard Park, NY - The Buffalo Bills today announced that the team has claimed and been awarded WR Marcus Thigpen.

Thigpen entered the NFL in 2009 when he signed as an undrafted free agent with the Philadelphia Eagles. The 5-9, 200 pound Indiana product has played in 36 career games seeing time at both wide receiver and as a returner. Thigpen has returned 64 punts in his career for an average of 10.1 yards per return and one touchdown in addition 83 kick returns for an average of 24.5 yards per return. Thigpen is 28 and a native of Detroit, MI.

The Buffalo Bills also announced that the team has released DE Bryan Johnson.
