WR Reed out for Sunday

The Bills will be down one of their veteran wide receivers on Sunday. Josh Reed, who was listed as questionable for Buffalo's Week 16 game against the Falcons on Friday was downgraded to out late Saturday.

Reed was added to the injury report on Friday after practicing on just a limited basis due to an ankle injury.

He did not travel with the team to Atlanta on Saturday and was subsequently downgraded to out.

It's the first game that Reed will miss this season. The veteran wideout is fourth on the team in receptions and receiving yards through 14 games with one touchdown.

Playing time for youngsters? With Reed out the reserve receivers most likely to see action are Roscoe Parrish and Steve Johnson, who have both worked out of the slot in their time with the Bills.

James Hardy might also have a chance to be active and see some action on offense for the first time this season. Hardy rejoined the 53-man roster after being taken off the Reserve PUP list on Nov. 11, but has been inactive for the six games since being activated.
