In the Community | 2026 Modified Flag Football Kickoff

On April 18th and April 19th, the Buffalo Bills in partnership with the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Foundation and Buffalo Bills Foundation, hosted the annual Modified Girls Flag Football Kickoff inside the Kaleida Health Performance Center. Nearly 40 teams from Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse were invited to participate in the event which consisted of skills & drills and scrimmage sessions. DeWayne Carter, Javon Solomon and Billy Buffalo were in attendance throughout the weekend to support the girls and wish them luck on their upcoming seasons!

The focus of the event was to provide Buffalo-based BuffaLUG (Buffalo LEGO User Group) and Rocks of Unity*™* with artistic support as they prepare works that will be featured in Highmark Stadium, which will open later this year! These artist teams and community members make up one component of the overall Buffalo Bills Public Art Program presented by VictoryLive at Highmark Stadium which will feature over 40 artists & teams. The full group of artists will be announced soon.

Photos | Buffalo Bills 2025 High School Girls Flag Football Kickoff

The Buffalo Bills hosted the High School Girls Flag Football Kickoff this weekend for 69 teams from the Buffalo and Rochester areas! Teams were invited to the Buffalo Bills Fieldhouse to participate in preseason scrimmages as well as utilize the social media and photography sets. Local media interviewed the athletes and coaches prior to the start of the girls flag football season.

In The Community | The HER'd Celebrates Women's History Month

The Buffalo Bills Women's Affinity Group, The HER'd, celebrated Women's History Month in a variety of ways, including getting out in the community!

Staff volunteered at Leveling the Playing Field to pack equipment boxes for newly formed or existing Modified Flag Football teams in WNY!

Staff also volunteered at Project Mona's House, an organization focused on shedding the light on the terrible crime of human trafficking. Staff shared about their roles with the Buffalo Bills and how they entered their respective career fields—particularly as women navigating those spaces. Small group conversations occurred where Overcomers shared their portfolios, certifications, and future goals. Staff also joined girls from Project Mona's House's Young Women's Empowerment Academy! The girls pitched prepared ideas or speeches while Bills staff served as judges and offered feedback. Bills staff and the girls ended the day by painting!
