Stefon Diggs joined Buffalo Bills team owner and president Kim Pegula and multimedia journalist Maddy Glab on the latest episode of "Bills Pod Squad," presented by New York Lottery.

The episode is available now on iTunes, Spotify, and Google Podcasts. You can also watch the episode on BuffaloBills.com, the team's YouTube channel, and the Bills Mobile app, presented by M&T Bank.

Diggs has thrived during his first season with the Bills, ranking among the top receivers in the NFL with 80 receptions and 945 receiving yards through the first 11 games.

Here are three takeaways from his chat with Kim and Maddy.

1. He credits his success to his situation

Diggs is having a career year in nearly every statistical category, yet he continues to deflect praise toward the supporting cast around him.

"I would say just the supporting cast," he said when asked about his success. "I'm not really taking too much of the credit. Of course, I'm out there working my tail off but it's a product of being in the right situation, having the right coaches.

"Chad Hall, Coach Daboll, and Josh Allen – my support system. I'm going to give it to my support system. They put me in the best situation to be successful and to blossom."

2. He is not a morning person

Diggs used this fun fact as an example of why Buffalo has been a perfect fit.

"Every day we wake up in the morning, even when I'm grumpy, Josh wakes up pushing me and says, 'Let's go,' has got all the positive energy in the world," he said. "Because I'm not really a morning person. Then you see Coach Daboll walk up to me, he says, 'Did you get some sleep last night?

"… I love being around them. They kind of push life into me when I don't have it and I do the same thing. When we get out on the football field, I always make sure I give them a little extra umph on the back end just because they bothered me in the morning."

3. His fashion sense dates back to his childhood

Followers of Diggs' Instagram know about his passion for fashion, which apparently has its roots in his childhood.

"My mom always told me when I was young, I had a pair of cowboy boots that I wore every day even in the summertime," he said. "… So, I think there's some carryover."
