1. THE CLEMSON CONNECTION

Steward's selection marks the third straight year, and fourth time in the last five years, the Bills have picked a Clemson Tiger. Last year, it was Sammy Watkins. In 2013, the Bills picked S Jonathan Meeks. In 2011, they chose OT Chris Hairston. In addition, Steward was a college teammate of Seth Ryan, Rex Ryan's son, at Clemson.

Steward is the fifth Clemson Tiger chosen in the draft this year, and the third Clemson linebacker. Vic Beasley and Stephone Anthony went in the first round.

1. HE WAS A HIGH SCHOOL PHENOM

Steward was a highly recruited linebacker out of Menendez HS in St Augustine, Florida. He was named an All-State performer there and was considered the #1 outside linebacker prospect in his high school class in 2011.

3. TOUGH LUCK IN FRESHMAN YEAR

Steward was playing as a true freshman for Clemson in the fall of 2011 when he tore his ACL in a practice in mid-October. He missed the rest of his freshman year.

4. HE'S ALREADY GOT HIS COLLEGE DEGREE

Steward graduated from Clemson last December with a degree in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management.
