1. HE'S ALREADY THE TALLEST RECEIVER ON THE BILLS ROSTER

The Bills were looking to add some stature to their talented WR corps. They've got it in Dezmin Lewis. He's 6-4, 214 pounds, and he's the tallest receiver on the roster right now. Scouts have noted that Lewis has a knack for using his size to make difficult catches in traffic.

2. HIGH PRAISE FROM DANIEL JEREMIAH

NFL Network draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah likes what he sees from Dez Lewis.

"When I watched him on tape, he was so much fun to watch," Jeremiah says. "Look at how long he is. (He) can stride it out and beat you over the top. A little nifty after the catch, too, for such a long, tall receiver."

3. DOMINANT PERFORMER AT THE SMALL COLLEGE LEVEL

Lewis is a three time All League performer in the Southland Conference. He caught 64 passes last year for 945 yards, and scored 9 touchdowns. At the Senior Bowl in Mobile, he showed he can compete with the big college players and he posted a respectable time in the 40-yard dash—4.58.

4. HE KNOWS THE WAY TO ORCHARD PARK

Lewis is one of three Bills draft picks who came to One Bills Drive during the spring for a visit. The others were 3rd round OT John Miller and 5th round RB Karlos Williams.

5. A COLORFUL HOME FIELD FOR LEWIS IN COLLEGE

Lewis played his home games in Central Arkansas' Estes Stadium in Conway, Arkansas. The stadium has been around since 1939, but the field underwent a major transformation four years ago. Central Arkansas plays on a purple and gray striped field designed to enhance recruiting and emphasize the Bears brand. !
