While the injury bug certainly bit Buffalo hard in the first week of training camp, the second week has brought some key contributors back onto the practice field. On Monday Buffalo activated defensive tackles Marcell Dareus, Kyle Williams and wide receiver Sammy Watkins.

All three players passed physicals Monday allowing to begin practicing.

Watkins and Williams had been on the Active/PUP list. Watkins was coming off of foot surgery to repair a Jones fracture in his fifth metatarsal in the spring. He's been running full speed for the last few weeks and was working on the side with the strength and conditioning staff at camp last week.

Williams is coming off of offseason knee surgery after sustaining a season-ending knee injury in Week 6 last season. He and Dareus, who was on the Active/Non-Football Illness list, were both working on the side as well the first week of camp.

The three players are considered major factors in the fortunes of Buffalo's 2016 campaign this fall. Their health will be critical to how successful the Bills will be this fall.
