Bills elevate WR Elliott to 53-man roster

The Bills had a vacant roster spot available after Scott Chandler was placed on injured reserve earlier in the week. On Friday Buffalo made use of that vacancy promoting practice squad WR Kevin Elliott to the active roster.

Elliott has only been with the club for 10 days after being signed to the practice squad on Dec. 18th.

Elliott entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with Jacksonville in May. The 6-3, 205-pound Florida A&M product caught 10 passes for 108 yards in 13 games with the Jaguars before being released on Dec. 15th. He will wear No. 18.
