A week ago the Bills were awarded the claim for RB Dri Archer. Waived by the Jets last week, Buffalo was interested in adding the super speed return man to their roster. Unfortunately to this point Archer has not reported to the club. The Bills placed Archer on the Reserve/Did Not Report list Monday.

The designation opens up a spot on Buffalo's 90-man offseason roster. The Bills will retain the rights to Archer until a resolution to his status with the club takes place.

Archer, 24, was signed by the Jets as a future free agent this past January. He was waived by the Steelers last November after serving as a multi-faceted offensive weapon and kick returner.

Blessed with rare speed, Archer (5-8, 174) ran a 4.26 40-time at the NFL combine in 2014. The Kent State product was virtually unstoppable during his junior season (2012) for the Golden Flashes scoring 20 touchdowns in 14 games while rolling up more than 2,500 all-purpose yards.
