The Bills brought back a starter from Buffalo's 2021 offensive line on Monday as they re-signed G Ike Boettger to a one-year contract.

Boettger was an unrestricted free agent after playing last season on his one-year restricted free agent tender. The 27-year-old made 10 starts last season at left guard before an Achilles injury suffered in Week 16 at New England prematurely ended his season.

GM Brandon Beane provided an update on Boettger's health Monday.

"Ike had a tough injury with the Achilles last year and is rehabbing that. He got a good exam on his physical," said Beane. "He'll still have to rehab that and we'll see where he's at when training camp starts."

Boettger's 17 career starts have all come in a Bills uniform as he originally signed with Buffalo in 2018 as an undrafted rookie out of Iowa.
