Tuesdays have quickly become commonplace for roster moves by the Buffalo Bills. Week 3 of the NFL regular season followed suit. On Tuesday the Bills released a pair of defenders.

Buffalo parted ways with S Trae Elston and LB Jelani Jenkins.

Elston was a first-year player who had a consistent training camp and preseason and earned a roster spot when the squad was trimmed to 53 in early September. He appeared in the team's first two regular season games serving on special teams.

Jenkins was just signed by the Bills a week ago, but the five-year veteran, who was inactive this past week, was also waived by the club.

Buffalo now has two vacant roster spots to fill before Sunday's game against Denver.
