Bills sign DL Gilbert

The Bills made an addition to their defensive line Saturday signing DL Jarron Gilbert.

Gilbert has spent most of the last two seasons (2010-11) on the New York Jets practice squad. He appeared in one game for the Jets against Buffalo in last year's season finale, recording one tackle for a two-yard loss. The 6-5, 285-pound San Jose St. product originally entered the NFL as a third-round draft choice of the Chicago Bears in 2009.

Gilbert appeared in four games with the Bears before being released prior to the 2010 season.

To make room on the roster for Gilbert the Bills also announced that LB Antonio Coleman has been released.
