Bills sign linebacker Baylor Spector and cornerback Jalen Kimber to practice squad

Buffalo is adding depth to its defense ahead of Week 6, signing linebacker Baylon Spector and cornerback Jalen Kimber their practice squad. Both are former Bills that are now re-joining the team.

Spector recorded 34 tackles, nine assisted, in his three seasons in Buffalo from 2022-24. He also had one sack and one quarterback hit in the 2024 season alongside 27 total tackles. The six-foot, 233-pound linebacker made eight game appearances in 2024, four in 2023, and one in 2022 as a rookie.

Spector, 26, was a seventh-round selection in the 2022 NFL Draft, picked 232nd overall by the Bills.

Kimber, 24, played his final collegiate season at Penn State after playing for Florida. He made 44 game appearance in his collegiate career, recording 75 tackles, nine pass breakups, one interception and one fumble recovery. In his final season, the six-foot-one, 184-pound corner made 15 starts out of 16 appearances and posted 35 tackles, one tackle for loss and three pass breakups.

The Tennessee Titans signed Kimber as an undrafted free agent following the 2025 NFL Draft and released him on Aug. 25. Buffalo signed him three days later then later released him on Sept. 23.

To make room for these moves, Buffalo released linebacker Otis Reese IV from the practice squad.
