The Bills have added more protection for QB Josh Allen to the roster. Offensive tackle Brandon Shell has signed with Buffalo on a one-year deal.

The OT started in 11 games and played in 13 last year for Miami. Shell has also played for the Seattle Seahawks (2020-2021) and the New York Jets (2016-2019).

The eight-year vet has started in 72 games and played in 83 throughout his career. The OT has spent most his time playing at the right tackle position.

Shell was originally a fifth-round pick by the Jets out of the 2016 NFL Draft. He played college football for South Carolina and is from Goose Creek, South Carolina. Shell is the great nephew of Hall of Fame tackle Art Shell.

The Bills released defensive tackle Brandin Bryant.
