Bills sign RB Ferguson

For the second time in less than a week the Bills addressed their running back position, signing free agent tailback Rodney Ferguson.

Ferguson (6'0" 234) originally entered the league as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2009 when he was signed by the Tennessee Titans and spent a portion of last season on the team's practice squad.

Earning 1st Team All-Mountain West Conference honors as a junior and senior at New Mexico, Ferguson is among the all-time leading rushers in school history. He ranks third in career rushing yards, rushing attempts and second in rushing touchdowns. As a sophomore he led the conference in rushing with 1,234 rushing yards.

Ferguson is the second free agent running back to sign with the Bills this month. Buffalo signed free agent RB Walter Mendenhall last week. The Bills now have four running backs on their roster.
