The Bills didn't wait long to sign a running back to replace Taiwan Jones who was lost for the season on Thursday night to a broken arm. Buffalo added free agent RB Travaris Cadet to the roster Saturday.

Cadet, 28, was most recently with the New York Jets. He was signed when Matt Forte was out of the lineup with a turf toe injury, but was released October 24th.

Prior to that Cadet spent most of the past five seasons with the New Orleans Saints, who originally signed him as an undrafted rookie in 2012.

Cadet also had short stints with the 49ers and Patriots.

The running back has more receptions (105) than carries (66) in his career. All seven of his touchdowns as a pro were as a receiver.

Cadet also has kick return experience with a career average of 24.5.

To make room on the roster for Cadet, Taiwan Jones was placed on injured reserve.
