Bills sign three future free agents

The Bills signed three players from their practice squad to future free agent contracts. Buffalo signed defensive tackles Rashaad Duncan and Lonnie Harvey and OT Jason Watkins.

Harvey and Watkins were originally signed to the Bills practice squad on Nov. 25 of last season, with Duncan signed just a week later on Dec. 1.

Harvey (6'3" 342) entered the league as an undrafted rookie with Carolina this past spring, but was released by the Panthers prior to the start of the regular season. He played his college ball at Morgan State where he was a key cog in a defense that led the Football Championsip Series (Division I-AA) in total defense, allowing just 213.4 yards per game. He had 28 tackles with 5.5 for loss, a sack and forced fumble in his final collegiate season.

Watkins (6'6" 325) was also a rookie free agent who signed with Houston this past May, but did not make the Texans' opening day roster. Watkins was a two-year starter in college at the University of Florida winning two national titles with the Gators.

He was the team's starting left tackle as a junior and starting right tackle as a senior with 29 career starts in his collegiate career.

Duncan (6'2" 315) was an undrafted rookie free agent signing of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last May. After not making their 53-man roster, Duncan was signed to the club's practice squad to start the season. He also has spent time on the Carolina Panthers practice squad.

Built low to the ground, Duncan was a three-year starter in college at Pitt that had 55 tackles with 5.5 for loss along with 1.5 sacks his senior year.
