Bills sign wide receiver Dante Pettis to one-year deal

The Bills made a roster move after their second day of training camp, signing wide receiver Dante Pettis to a one-year deal.

Pettis, 30, has eight years of NFL experience with four different teams, most recently playing for the New Orleans Saints from 2024-25. In his career, Pettis has recorded 92 receptions for 1,231 yards and 13 touchdowns across 66 games.

Pettis has return experience as well with 332 punt return yards (11.8 yards/return) over the last three seasons and 447 kick return yards (24.8 yards/return) over the last two seasons.

The 6-foot-1 receiver is from San Clemente, CA and was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He will wear No. 87 with the Bills.

In a corresponding move, wide receiver Jalen Virgil was waived/NFI.
