Doug Marrone and the Bills will have one extra preseason game this summer. Buffalo will square off against the Giants in the annual Hall of Fame game, which kicks off the NFL season. The game will be at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday Aug. 3rd at Canton's Fawcett Stadium.

For the Bills it's the fourth time they'll appear in the Hall of Fame game, with their last appearance coming in 2009 when they faced the Titans to help mark the 50th anniversary of the AFL. Buffalo also had a tie-in to the weekend's enshrinements as founder and owner Ralph Wilson was inducted as well as all-time sack leader Bruce Smith.

This summer, the Bills will again have a Hall of Fame inductee in all-time leading receiver Andre Reed. The Giants - who will play in their fifth Hall of Fame game and first since 2002 - will also be represented with DE Michael Strahan a member of this year's Hall of Fame class.

Players from Buffalo's current roster who participated in the last Hall of Fame game include Fred Jackson, Stevie Johnson, Leodis McKelvin, Brian Moorman, Kyle Williams and Eric Wood.

For Wood the 2009 game against Tennessee was his first as a pro.

"Being in Canton as a rookie while Mr. Wilson was being inducted into the Hall of Fame was an honor," Eric Wood told Buffalobills.com. "It was awesome for me going back to a stadium to play my first time in a Bills uniform where I played in two high school state championships. This year will be fun to be there in Canton while Andre Reed, a great player for the Bills and a guy I have become friends with, is inducted into the Hall of Fame."
