EJ Manuel up for NFL Rookie of the Week

Buffalo Bills QB EJ Manuel is among the nominees for NFL Rookie of the Week, as announced by the League Tuesday morning.

San Diego Chargers WR Keenan Allen, Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell, Arizona Cardinals RB Andre Ellington, and Atlanta Falcons CB Desmond Trufant join Manuel on the list of candidates.

Manuel threw for 193 yards and two touchdowns and added another on an eight-yard run to lead the Bills to a 27-20 win over Jacksonville. He broke the Bills rookie touchdown pass record with his 11th TD of the season and set the franchise record for completions in a season by a Bills rookie (180). Manuel ended the game with a 105.0 passer rating.

Fans can vote for one of these five players HERE through Friday at 3 p.m. EST to determine the Pepsi Next NFL Rookie of the Week. The Pepsi Next NFL Rookie of the Week will be announced Friday on NFL Total Access on NFL Network and on NFL.com.

After the regular season, five players will be nominated for Pepsi Next NFL Rookie of theYear honors. Fans can vote for the winner on NFL.com/rookies throughout the month of January. The Pepsi NEXT NFL Rookie of the Year will be announced at the "3rd Annual NFL Honors" awards show in New York City on FOX on Saturday, Feb. 1, the night before Super Bowl XLVIII.
