Inside the Bills - Aug 27

Playing time for Thursday night

Posted By: Chris Brown | Time: 2:01 PM ET

PLAYING TIME THURSDAY NIGHT TBD: Dick Jauron has decided to hold all decisions on playing time for the starters, as well as whether players coming off injury will play until game time Thursday night.

"Everything's going to be decided at game time tomorrow," said Jauron. "We'll make our decisions tomorrow."

With Trent Edwards held out of team work in practice Wednesday it seems unlikely the Bills starting QB will play Thursday night. Langston Walker may also be sitting after not practicing again Wednesday.

Interesting research on Peters

INTERESTING RESEARCH ON PETERS: ESPN's AFC East reporter Tim Graham did an interesting bit of research with respect to Jason Peters' approach in his holdout (i.e. silent treatment). He said he spoke with seven NFL agents and none of them said they would approach the situation with the Bills with one of their clients the way Peters' representation has to this point.

I've said from the outset that he's going about this in the opposite fashion that he probably should. Lee Evans has been here working with his teammates and preparing for an important season and he's likely to be rewarded for that approach in the near future.

OT Walker among players not practicing

WALKER NOT PRACTICING: Langston Walker is not practicing again today. Neither is Jason Whittle or Duke Preston.

[update] Derek Fine is present.
