1 – Alaska by way of Nigeria

Ulofoshio (pronounced (YOO-lo-FO-shee-oh) has a rather unique upbringing. His father immigrated from Nigeria to Anchorage, Alaska where he had family, and brought the rest of his family over a few years later. Edefuan played football all through his scholastic years before the team moved to Las Vegas midway through his sophomore year of high school. That would be where his game gained the attention of college programs while playing at football powerhouse Bishop Gorman high school.

2 – Follow my lead

A team captain his senior season, Ulofoshio, was also described by his teammates as a positive and infectious leader. He was also named the 2023 Guy Flaherty Award winner awarded to the Huskies most inspirational player by his teammates.

A preferred walk-on, Ulofoshio earned a scholarship and overcame back-to-back bicep and ACL injuries to earn First-Team All-Pac 12 honors in his senior season. Ulofoshio totaled 94 tackles, 8 TFL, 3 sacks, 4 pass break-ups, 1 INT returned for a TD and 1 forced fumble for the Huskies during their 14-1 season.

3 – Sense of community

Ulofoshio graduates from the University of Washington with a degree in Public and Global Health. His career goal is to improve the health standards of low-income communities.
