Phoebe Schecter named to the fifth team of Global Flag Football Ambassadors

The NFL and the International Federation of American Football announced that former Buffalo Bills coach and captain of Great Britain's national team Phoebe Schecter is one of the newest members of the Global Flag Football Ambassador team. Schecter was a coaching intern with the Buffalo Bills from 2018-19.

Schecter joins an all-star team of men and women as a Global Flag Football Ambassador to amplify and support the long-term growth of the game worldwide. The team, including current American and flag football players, Legends, coaches, and officials, works together to further raise the profile and promote the unique values of one of the world's fastest-growing sport while supporting the combined global efforts of the NFL and IFAF to increase awareness, interest, and participation in flag football internationally and drive forward the development of the game.

"Growing football internationally has been my life's work," Phoebe Schecter said. "And flag football is the easiest way to introduce scores of people to the game, as there are few barriers to participation. The partnership between the NFL and IFAF will create life-changing opportunities for many people worldwide and I am excited to be an ambassador on this mission."
