Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, along with many of the team's starters, will not suit up for the Bills' final preseason game this Friday at Carolina, head coach Sean McDermott announced prior to Wednesday's practice.

"Most of them will not play, we're going to ramp it up pretty good today in practice," McDermott said. "Leave that opportunity (Friday) for the twos and threes to get in and get a chance to show us again what they have."

McDermott shared that he felt comfortable with how the starters performed against the Broncos last week and instead wants to have a full game to evaluate the rest of the roster ahead of next week's roster cutdowns.

The Bills are 2-0 this preseason, having beaten the Colts 27-24 and the Broncos 42-15. The Bills and Panthers square off Friday night at 7 p.m. from Bank of America Stadium.
