Angelo Sciandra named Bills high school coach of the week

Angelo Sciandra of Cardinal O'Hara has been named the Buffalo Bills High School Football Coach of the Week after the eleventh weekend of the 2007 football season (November 9-10).

In a dominant performance Saturday afternoon at Ralph Wilson Stadium, Cardinal O'Hara High School shutout St. Mary's High School 35-0 to claim its third consecutive Monsignor Martin Association League A championship. Senior RB Reggie Garner led the way for the offense rushing for 187 yards and three touchdowns, including runs of 67 and 72 yards. Junior QB Angelo Sciandra IV was perfect in the passing game connecting on all five of his attempts for 125 yards and a touchdown to sophomore D.J. Nettles. The story of the game however, was the Cardinal O'Hara defense. Dominating every time they stepped on the field, the Hawks defense registered nine sacks in posting their seventh shutout of the season.
